Abstract In a stepped spillway, the spillway face is provided with series of steps from near crest to toe. This type attractive for water resource management because it dissipates energy that within flow. When dissipated by steps, reduces reduction otherwise must occur at toe spillway. present study, nine physical models slopes 15, 25, 45° and number varying 5 50 have been constructed.
